Steven DeMizio, Esq.

Steven is a lifelong resident of Staten Island who graduated from Monsignor Farrell High School in 2004. Steven earned his B.A. from Binghamton University and his Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School in 2011.

While in law school, Steven had the privilege to clerk for the Honorable Philip S. Straniere, the supervising judge of Richmond County Civil Court, and the Honorable Katherine A. Levine of the Kings County Civil Court.

Upon passing the bar exam, Steven began his legal career at Amir Alishahi & Associates, where he closed loans and acted as settlement agent/bank attorney for major institutional lenders. In 2013, Steven left Amir Alishahi and began working at Conti Law Firm, PLLC, where he expanded his practice to include real estate and commercial transactions, trusts & estates and general civil litigation.

When Conti Law Firm, PLLC merged with Amir Alishahi & Associates, P.C. Steven joined the newly created firm of Alishahi, Conti & Gallagher, P.C. where he currently oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm’s mortgage banking department and is the primary attorney for all loan closings. He also continues to close real estate and commercial transactions and handles all aspects of civil litigation for the firm.

Steven is a member in good standing of the New York State Bar Association and acts as general counsel to Green Technology Club Corp., a New York not-for-profit corporation focused on helping students integrate and apply “green” or renewable/sustainable energy technology into the field of automotives.
